World of Warcraft Herbalism Skill 1-450 guide will show you to level your Herbalism.  Below are some tips followed by instructions explaining where to go for each level of herbalism. Each map has been drawn to follow a specific path. It is highly recommended that you may have to follow the path several times before you can reach certain level skill.

Updated to Wrath of the Lich King

If you’re going to power level herbalism in a short period of time, I’d recommend you get an epic ground mount first. You’ll find trainers in every major city to learn herbalism. Finally, make sure that you have your ‘Find Herbs’ tool activated by left clicking on the hour glass connected to your minimap:

Herbalism Levels 170-225

Arathi Highlands is an abundant place to level Herbalism once you get to 170. You will be getting many similar herbs when you in Stranglethorn Vale. Stay here until you are level 225, and don’t leave earlier because you’ll have a rough time finding a more efficient place to level. Fly to Booty Bay and find Flora Silverwind to train Herbalism to level 300.

Head to Feralas and start gathering Goldthorn and Liferoot until you’re 230, then you’ll be able to start collecting all the Sungrass you keep running by. Collect Goldthorn, Liferoot, Sungrass, Purple Lotus, and Golden Samsan until you are 275. You’ll find all the needed herbs to get you to level 275 here in Feralas.

Now head to Outland and get Master Gathering from Thrallmar (Horde) or Stronghold (Alliance). Stay around in Hellfire Peninsula and gather Golden Samsan (Skill 260), Dreamfoil (Skill 270), Mountain Silversage (Skill 280),  Felweed (Skill 300). These herbs are all over the place, there are many routes that you can follow throughout your leveling process.  Another great place is Nagrand; it’s so much more than in Hellfire Peninsula with a bit higher level though. Keep it mind, max out your skill here before you go to Northrend.

Alliance can visit either Kirea Moondancer in Valiance Keep (Borean Tundra) or Fayin Whisperleaf in Valgarde (Howling Fjord).

Horde must visit Marjory Kains in Vengeance Landing (Howling Fjord).

In Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra, gather Goldclover. It’s all over the place.

For Horde AND Alliance, once you hit 150-160 head to Swamp of Sorrows. THERE IS NO NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE ‘TILL YA HIT 300.
